Introduction
IMPORTANT: Cataclysm will NOT be supported in near future. We strongly advise making a copy of your Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a folder in order to play on Molten.
Playing on Molten is free, easy and completely safe. Following is required to play on our servers:
- You must have World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King installed (see Download Links).
- You must be on patch 3.3.5a (12340) (see Downgrade from patch 4.0.3 to 3.3.5a).
- You must register and change your realmlist (see Connection Guide).
IMPORTANT: Do NOT use Launcher.exe. If it pops up - close it immediately to prevent it from auto-patching patching too high (click for example).
IMPORTANT: Use WoW.exe to start the game. This file is located in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe (click for example).
Connection Guide
Follow these steps if you are already on patch 3.3.5a (12340). Remember NOT to use Launcher.exe and to close if it pops up.
1. Click here to create a new account and check your email for an activation link
2. Edit realmlist.wtf located in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS using Notepad
3. Remove all lines, add the lines below and save:
set realmlist logon.molten-wow.com
4. Start the game by running WoW.exe located in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft
5. Log in with your new account and start playing!
Downgrade from patch 4.0.3 to 3.3.5a
Follow these steps if you are on patch 4.0.3. Remember NOT to use Launcher.exe and to close if it pops up.
1. Uninstall World of Warcraft
2. Start a new installation and once installation reaches 90% - disconnect from the internet to prevent from auto-patching to 4.0.3
3. Once your installation is 100% complete your game should be on patch 3.0.1.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question: When I try to connect it says "Unable to connect. Please try again later."
Answer: This means that World of Warcraft can not access internet or your realmlist is wrong (see Connection Guide).
Question: When I try to connect it says "Disconnected from the server."
Answer: This means that you are on the wrong patch version. You must be on patch 3.3.5a (12340) to play on Molten (see Downgrade from patch 4.0.3 to 3.3.5a).
